Due to many requests, we are now offering companion dog obedience and service dog skill training.
We will accept up to 5 dogs at a time. The dog must pass an initial temperament evaluation. The
dogs will receive 2- 4 training sessions per day. The training sessions will be broken into 4 week
sessions. The charge is $500 per 4 week session, due at the start of each month. If the dog needs
vaccinations or vet visits during their stay, the cost is the responsibility of the owner. The food is also
the responsibility of the owner.
What Will the Dogs Learn?
First 4 Week Session will include:
1. Learning his/her name.
2. Come Here command
3. Sit command
4. Let's Go command-walking on a loose leash
5. Off command-no jumping on people
6. Crate training, if desired
7. Down command
8. Roll command
9. Introduction to riding in the car and loading
10. Beginning retrieval commands
Second 4 Week Session will include:
1. Improve performance on name, come here, sit,
down, roll
2. Begin learning Wait command
3. Finish learning Off command
4. Continue Let's Go command with more distractions
5. Continue crate training
6. Begin Turn command
7. Introduction to grooming-brushing, teeth brushing,
nail trims
8. Begin Leave It command
9. Begin Shake command
10. Continue Retrieval commands
11. Begin Go In command
Third 4 Week Session will include:
1. Keep up skills on name, come here, sit, down, roll, off
2. Continue learning Wait command
3. Continue refining Let's Go command
4. Continue learning Turn and Shake commands
5. Continue Leave It command
6. Begin learning Stay command
7. Begin Visit command
8. Improve Grooming Tolerance
9. Begin learning Speak command
10. Continue Retrieval Commands
11. Continue Go In command
Every subsequent 4 week session will be individually determined. Special requested skills may be
added at this time.
